What
Most implants are made from the metal titanium. Despite the fact that these types of implants have been in use for 50 years, titanium allergy and corrosion are increasingly being discovered with these screws. This causes inflammation and can lead to loss of the implants. Ceramic implants are made of cubic zirconia (zirconium dioxide), which is a 100% stable, safe and also aesthetic material.

Metalfree Concept
First Consultation
During the intake we clearly look at the treatment question and also the possible treatment options. Furthermore, a thorough mouth examination and also a Vitamin D test to determine the quality of the jawbone, in combination with an extensive medical anamnesis. Proper diagnosis and planning is therefore half the battle!
We also make a CT scan of your jaw / jaws. We have a very sophisticated device for this: a conebeam CT scan (CBCT). We thus reconstruct a 3D image of your jaws with a limited radiation load. This allows us to look at your teeth and jaw bone from all angles and directions.
Based on these 3D images, we can simultaneously place the implants in your jaws via special software. We see in advance whether it is possible and how it is possible!
Planning & Budget
We draw up the plan based on the X-ray images on the one hand and the collected data on the other. This results in a personalized treatment plan with an accompanying budget and the necessary advice.

The mouth must first be briefly cleaned and disinfected before we start the real operation. We carry out this treatment with the help of ozone therapy.
Implantsurgery with LPRF
L-PRF or Leucocytes & Platelet Rich Fibrin, is a revolutionary method to promote and accelerate the healing process and bone repair in a natural way during healing. The patient’s blood is the basis for generating the so-called L-PRF membranes, plugs and blocks. Because we only work with material that is specific to the patient, this method is 100% safe.
For the LPRF method, we will take a few tubes of blood from your forearm. We then centrifuge these tubes for 3 to 12 minutes, after which a slimy “blob” has formed in each tube. From these “blobs” we can make membranes and plugs that are composed of a solid fibrin network containing activated platelets (= body’s own growth factors) and numerous white blood cells. These products accelerate bone repair and the healing process. The healing is also significantly less painful afterwards.
When we want to repair parts of the jaw bone (or with a sinus elevation technique) in order to place implants, we always use LPRF.
With every implant operation we use LPRF to immerse the implant in growth factors before placing it. We also fill the drill hole with LPRF before placing the implant. We inject the rest of the material into the treatment region. This ensures a quick and often painless healing.

Temporaries
If necessary, we will install a pre-scanned temporary crown or bridge immediately after the implant operation.
Control & Instructions
1 week after the treatment, we check the wound healing and we give adapted instructions for your oral hygiene.
Osseointegration Control
After 4 months of growth in the upper jaw on the one hand or 2 months in the lower jaw on the other hand, we check the implants for their stability. If this satisfies, the final finishing can be started.
Scanning
After the check, we scan both jaws with a mouth scanner. This means we no longer have to make impressions: no more dirty impression materials in the mouth and 100% precision. We also determine the color and the bite electronically: 100% the right color and the right bite.
Installation
We cement or screw the crown or bridge onto the ceramic implant. The bite is checked and the function is restored!
Control & Instructions
After 1 week you will come by again to check the bite. There is therefore an extensive instruction for oral hygiene around the implants.
Annual control
Long-term success therefore depends on good oral hygiene and an annual (rx) check-up. The latter is also of great importance for the guarantee scheme.
