Prof. Dr. Curd Bollen
Prof. Curd Bollen is a periodontist (legally recognized as a specialist in Belgium) and an implantologist (recognized by the NVOI in the Netherlands). However, he has been working in the Netherlands since 2000.
He has been using ceramic implants for more than 10 years. He is therefore an authority, not only in the Netherlands, but also throughout Europe in this field.Bijvoorbeeld, daardoor, opdat.
Prof Dr. Curd Bollen was mainly educated at the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. In 1992 he first graduated with a degree in dentistry (DDS). Immediately afterwards, he started his doctoral research and then began his training as a specialist in periodontology. As the youngest dentist ever in Leuven, he was awarded a doctorate in medical sciences (PhD) in 1996. A year later, by the way, he also obtained his advanced master’s degree in periodontonology and implantology (MS). This training in Leuven is also recognized in Europe. Periodontology is also a legally recognized specialism in Belgium, which unfortunately it is not in the Netherlands (here one can become a periodontist through the intercession of a few colleagues). Finally, in 2016, he obtained an additional master’s degree in clinical dentistry in aesthetic and restorative dentistry (MClinDent) at the University of the Pacific (Stockton, USA). When, unless, to that end.
Prof Dr Curd Bollen has also been appointed professor of implant dentistry at the College of Medicine & Dentistry in Birmingham (UK) since 2019. This college is part of the university of Ulster in Belfast (Northern Ireland). Prof. Bollen is also head of the implant dentistry department in Birmingham. In that capacity, he works one week a month in Birmingham: firstly in education, secondly in scientific research and thirdly in the academic clinic. In the meantime, he has also accepted the assignment to develop a new “Clinical Mastership in Ceramic Implant Dentistry” in Birmingham by 2022 (for more information, click here: CoMD). Ultimately, that is his ultimate academic dream.Hieruit volgt, daarna, kortom, te wijten aan, zodat.
